I would contact CRS and request your release letter to be faxed to you. Once you receive your letter; I would fill out the following forms listed below. Is your account showing with both credit bureaus, if not just fill out the forms you need and don't forget to include photocopies of two pieces of id?

CRS inquiry

Postby Rochelle » Tue Apr 12, 2011 09:19:11 AM

approximately 3 years ago i was receiving numerous harassing and treating phone calls from the CRS collection agency saying that i needed to make payments to my account in full. Reluctantly i paid the the full amount but i was not issued a letter of release and the information was not reported to the credit bureaus.

This information came to my attention after applying for a credit card and being denied.

I was wondering if Contact Resource Services Inc can be held accountable for failing to report this information to the credit bureaus.
