There isn't much to know if he had to fill out the financial capacity forms all the sections would be zero.

There are some specific things I would need to know, and rather than have you release any of the person's information in this post, it's probably best to give me a call on Monday and we can discuss the specifics.

Just mention we were speaking on this forum. My contact information is in the last post. Looking forward to speaking with you.

occa.ca

I have authorization to work on this individual behalf. I explained the situation that this person has nothing and his parents are supporting him and they are willing to help him settle this debt. How do you base your fee on a situation like this for example if this debt was settled for 50% but I believe this debt can be settled for 10% due to the circumstances?

I don't mean to sound vague here, but situations are different from consumer to consumer, so it would be best for them to contact us and provide some details about their specific situation.

Having a lump sum payment to offer is always good, especially if the person has no income, no assets, and is living with their parents.

We do charge a fee to be involved, however, the fee is always based on the person's individual circumstances and never puts them in a more difficult position.

Our goal is to get everyone the best possible terms. We would be happy to provide a free consultation to see how we can assist.

Have them email me at info@occa.ca or call toll-free 1-866-873-6222 and say they heard about OCCA on Canadian Money Advisor.

OCCA.CA,

What could you settle a credit card debt in the amount of $11,000 if someone had the money for a one time lump sum payment and what would be your fee? There is a member on here that has no source of income, no assets and is living with his parents in their home. Their last two years of their Notice of Assessment was zero.

Cheers

Try contacting iQor's Consumer Advocacy Group Hotline at 1-888-804-8198

They take calls from 8 AM to 9 PM EST

Or you can email them at omb@iqor.com

There's no reason why they can't provide you with your release letter - Demand it!

Their Advocacy Group takes complaints very seriously.

Payment Letter - Requested

Postby Marlina1 » Thu Apr 29, 2010 09:40:02 AM

Good day, this question is actually for me this time. Last year I made a payment to IQor for an old Rogers cable amount even though I originally paid Rogers years before. I was told a letter was going to be mailed to me, and I never received it. The last time I called, I got an extremely rude man who started to yell and swear at me because he thought I was calling him a liar. All I said was I did not receive this letter, even though it was claimed to have been mailed out.

I checked with Equifax and it was reported as it should..but I'm having a hard time getting a copy of this letter. I have the payment confirmation,etc..
Who should I contact to get a copy of this letter and stop this nonsense?

Yeah, I know...I was an idiot to believe them and to have paid $160.

Much appreciated. Thanks!
