Hi Michelle,
Did you contact Consumer Protection?
All of these requests should be done in writing. First right letters to iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency , second write letters of complaint to the Consumer Protection.
By writing letters, you're creating proof of what you're trying to do. If iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency doesn't reply properly you'll have proof of that as well. I wouldn't spend any time trying to contact them on the phone.
If the new collection agency is hounding you, do the same thing... get their name and address and correspond with them via mail. It will cut down on the phone calls.
Yes... it is difficult writing letters, but it will put you into control of the situation right away.
iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency and all collection agency's by law must have their accounting in order. If they don't have a record of your payments, your inquiry could cause an investigation into their finances, which they certainly don't want.
Write letters to the original creditor as well. As them for an accounting of your finances.
As soon as you start to write letters and complain to the proper authorities, you'll get some immediate action.
Keep us up to date with what's happening. Thanks
PS as I mentioned before... we can help out if you need letter writing etc for a small hourly fee. 306-546-7426
BTW... Canadian Bonded Credit Limited seems to have been pretty busy as it ranks one of the highest searched to get to our Canadian Money Advisor site. Collection agencies are getting a great deal of searches. It means that people are really looking for information like yours Michelle.
I encourage other people to explain your situation so that other people will be helped by the information. Thanks
