If you use your card for virtually every purchase and pay it off immeadiately it is a real good thing for your credit rating and score. Just be sure to not go over 25 to 30 % of your credit limit...that is not a good thing.

Paying card off right away after use

Postby Jasonontario » Sat Dec 24, 2011 01:17:47 PM

Hello,

I have a general question regarding credit use with payments and due dates.

Is it good or bad to use your card at a local retail store being anything such as groceries or even gas, then paying it right away when you arrive back home without waiting for the due date to arrive in the mail ? Is this good for your credit score? does it improve your score?

Thank you,
