I guess over the next few weeks and months, I will use this example to stand on my soap box and preach...

My dad having a stroke has / will have a deep affect on the family members.

If my dad was financially irresponsible, or was even loaded down with any type of debt of serious financial responsibility, his stroke would be devastating. Plain and simple.

My dad's been retired for many years, but if he wasn't he wouldn't be able to go back to work anytime soon. I imagine that his recovery will take 1-2 years.

IE.. if any collection agents called up when my dad was in this situation, I wouldn't be polite to them, if you know when I mean.

Again, my dad has been the prime example of financial responsibility, so we'll only have to deal with his monthly recurring household type bills.

Oh yeah, today is my dad's 68th birthday. Happy Birthday dad!

Thanks folks...

This will probably be a long term situation.
The main thing is that he survived and is able to do some rehabilitation.

My dad had a stroke this week, and I've been at the hospital attending to him, along with other family members.

I"ll try to go through the posts in the next few days to make sure we're answering questions.

I've also got a new training video that I'm working on.!!
