i search a few places for information on collection agencies and what to do about them.
there really isn't much out there.

I had a collection agency call me today. She wasn't rude but she was pushy and demanding. She said, "you need to do this and this". i thought to myself, that's pretty abrupt. I don't even know this lady and she's giving me orders.

I like the idea of what you're saying about getting control of the situation. I will politely tell this lady that I need to see all contracts involved before i talk to her at all. I am also going to call consumer protection right away.

I'm feeling better already. I haven't had much problem with collection agencies in the past. They are really good at getting your attention. I just don't like people demanding things of me.
