Monty I agree but just read recently they changed the FICO scores again they implented a new system due out this year. So look out who knows how much more they are gonna smear the consumer.

Is anybody familiar with/ having problems with their FICO score?

This is the score that Equifax uses?

BTW... do you know what your Equifax Canada / FICO score is.. or your TransRisk /TransUnion score?

No laws regulating FICO score

Did you know that there is NO legislation or laws in Canada that talks about your FICO / beacon / TransRisk score?

The people who create the FICO score can report what ever they want about you and there is no law that can help you out. They don't have to give you the FICO Score. The only way to get your score is to purchase it through the credit bureau.

This is infuriating as it's one of the main things that a creditor / employer / life insurance company uses to determine if they're going to help you or not.

FICO is generated by the Fair Isaac Corporation which is located in the U.S. Even if you had a problem with your FICO score, you'd have to go to the states to talk about it. That's pretty harsh!
