RE: Canadian debt settlement ccdr - Canadian Customer Debt Relief

Postby montyloree » Thu Nov 22, 2007 12:21:58 PM

UPDATE: ccdr.ca / Canadian Customer Debt Relief IS NOT a member of the Better Business Bureau of Saskatchewan. I just checked with bbbsask.com and they confirmed this.

So.. Greg Roberts -ccdr.ca wants Canadian-Money-Advisor.ca to live up to BBB standards but isn't even a Better Business Bureau member himself... Oh my... isn't that something..!!

If that's the case, who regulates ccdr.ca - Canadian Customer Debt Relief?

--------------

OH my goodness...

Greg Roberts from ccdr.ca complained to the Better Business Bureau about us using his website and company name in our blog post. I have contacted http://www.bbbsask.com about his complaint and told them even though Greg Roberts is unhappy about this discussion, we've done nothing wrong.! Greg Roberts is complaining about something that makes him unhappy, rather than something that is immoral or unscrupulous or illegal.

If you've read this site at all, you know that I try to keep things as fair as possible.

The funny thing about it is that he's complaining as a consumer about something regarding his company. It's a company matter.

I have nothing good to say about that at the moment. It's completely petty and un-business-like for him to complain to the BBB like that!!

He's concerned that we rank #2 for ccdr.ca in google
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=%22ccdr.ca%22&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

He's concerned that his potential clients are going to see what is written about him in this thread. When he openly admits that he's declared bankruptcy.
http://www.canadian-money-advisor.ca/threadview/606/2497/4.html

CCDRADMIN: Having gone through bankruptcy at a young age and not given any other options from the trustee I lived through the heartache for the next 7 years.

Does the fact that Greg Roberts - ccdr.ca declared bankruptcy make him a bad service provider?

http://www.canadian-money-advisor.ca/threadview/606/2497/4.html

CCDRADMIN: While I went through it I worked for various different collection agencies and credit departments and hated every moment of it. But sometimes you do what you have to to take care of your family.

Does the fact that Greg Roberts - ccdr.ca was a former collection agent make him a bad service provider?

These are issues not for me to judge.

Greg Roberts - ccdr.ca told us these facts publicly himself. I can't comment on Greg Robert's service as I haven't dealt with him personally.

MY COMMENTARY: I find it petty that Greg Roberts - ccdr.ca took the time to report this thread to the BBB because he's losing clients because of his own comments.!! That's really what bothers me. If you figure people might not deal with you because of what you tell them, don't tell them then!

This is a discussion forum where people talk about things.

Oh well...
Debt settlement is a good service for some Canadians.
We're going to have more on that topic with our upcoming Canadian Money Advisor Series which will include a company other than ccdr.ca.

I've chosen another Debt settlement company other than ccdr.ca with which to work and to help educate Canadians as to what debt settlement really is.

If you're interested to know more about debt settlement in Canada, leave a message here and let me know. If you register for this forum, I'll be emailing you with information as to when we're going to have our debt settlement informational.!!

More on that later.

Should I go on?

I'm sure that none of these websites got written permission from Equifax to write about them.
I'm sure in these few thousand posts that I've outlined above, NOBODY has gotten written permission from the companies that are written about.

Greg Roberts - ccdr.ca who has four listings in title: is worried about the publicity he is getting! Greg, we're doing you a favor.

Greg,
I haven't edited any of your posts.
I haven't edited any other posts.

You have and have had free reign to talk about what you want.
I haven't slurred your company.

There are cases where I tell people ... don't deal with this site.

I haven't done that with yours.

I get about 12 searches a month for ccdr.ca... That's not enough to waste my time with. If I was concerned that your business was fraudulent, I would let people know.

We're a member of the Better Business Bureau. We have a responsibility to keep things on the up and up. For the fact that my site ranks right under yours in google is probably what is upsetting you. Quite frankly, my site ranks well for many different companies names.

We're talking about words on a website. Get some perspective for heavens sake.

Greg, if you want to call me, you've got my phone number!!
