I was listening to CBC radio today and on the news they were alerting listeners about a Revenue Canada tax email phishing scam

Phishing is when a bulk emailer sends out a spam/scam email to your account which intends you to have you log on to their site and give you their personal information. I see these in Bank emails / paypal all the time.

It's a good scare tactic to use Revenue Canada with a topic of taxes as most people pay attention to that.

The only problem for the spammers is if they get caught.. They'll have all sorts of fraud charges from the Canadian Federal Government slapped on them.

If anybody has a copy of that Revenue Canada Tax spam email letter, could you post it here.

I'd be interested to see the wording on it, and I'm sure that other readers would as well.
