Well, you could be right, but I've got $100 on "her" being the bald headed, 300lb. iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency collector with smelly armpits. The gender, I'm not too sure about. What I am sure about is that all collectors deliver the same pro-forma shtick. Must be in their training manual somewhere. Maybe Milo will be so kind as to tell us what page it's on.

My oh my, no wonder she's so angry, 4 kids, 2 jobs and Maybe a little assistance from all the Daddy's or how 'bout the Government, I heard they teach you how to work the system (at least it's passed on from generation to generation) I have a friend who has 2 kids, 2 jobs (part time) -and she just makes ends meet.(She's just come back from the US), and absolutley no Child support!! She's trying very hard to get full-time work, but it's amazing what Canada(toronto) will accept as references. OH MY GOD, I think I got it, she should get a job at a collection agency....they seem to hire only pissed off, bitchy spawners It seems that must be a qualification!! Oh wait,sorry that wouldn't work, my friend is human!!

OK, fair enough, a $100 bet with 10:1 odds out there to anyone who can prove to me that "Karen Gonsalves" really is a single mom working 2 jobs with 4 kids, and is not some cheesy, mindless, robotic, iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency or TCR type collector. Her (His?) actual weight, I'm not too sure about - maybe it's only 270 pounds of fat and cellulite - I dunno; do I have a crystal ball?

Biggest day of the year for a collector. Someone by the name of Karen Gonsalves is trying to make an April Fool of you.

"Karen," rather than being an altruisic self-sacrificing all round mom, is likely some fat 300 pound, beer- bellied, chain smoking, bald headed collector (with smelly armpits) putting you on. Or maybe even a collection lawyer. Who knows with the internet? Maybe Karen can put little Timmy or Amanda on the blog just to assure us she really is a mother, instead of a mother- xxxxxx.

For the most part I try to be non-judgmental.
I'll try to do so for this discussion.

At some point Karen was in a relationship(s) which created four offspring. The significant other was probably gainfully employed, along with her jobs making it feasible to afford these children.

At another point, Karen and spouse(s) broke up or the spouse(s) passed away. This makes her situation even more financially risky from a credit risk point of view.

Now she's trying to hold up the whole financial situation on her own. This is respectable. It's also a much higher risk situation.

A creditor would much more gladly give credit to a dual income earning household than to a single parent. REASON: More excess cash to pay the bills.

Unless Karen is making really good money at each of her 2 jobs, she's probably just making ends meet.

Karen has already demonstrated that she is part way to being in the credit dumps, if something unfortunate happens.

Karen, I hope all goes well and that your health stays good for the long term.

I'm glad she dropped by... she's a good example of why people get bad credit!

Karen, are you sure that you're a single mom with 4 children working (count 'em) 2 jobs? A single mom I know is a bank manager, has one kid and is streeetttccchhhed to the limit. Without her parents' and my buddy's help it would be impossible.

Or are you really just a nasty pharasaical collector assuming the demographic identity of one of your favorite weak targets in order to make yourself appear justified?

Here are the "WHAT IF" situations:

1. You get sick and cannot work?
   
2. You lose your job because of lay offs
   
3. Your kids get sick and you must take care of them
   
4. Countless other scenarios with the same theme.

Where as it is highly respectable for you to be able to maintain your debt payments currently, any one of the above could throw your personal economy out of wack.

Then you would be in the exact same position as the others here.

People are not machines... Working two jobs and managing four kids is alot for a person to do. Illness comes because of exhaustion etc.
