The usual methods are electronic and verbal. Equifax will submit a query to reporting client (creditor) and seek validation of the information you provided. if the information is erroneous or unjust then it has to be removed.

If you submitted a consumer request form with your dispute then what you will likely see is a consumer declaration on your report citing your dispute and whatever underlying circumstances you put forward.

Because I sent in a dispute form, along with a letter of validation for each creditor to prove the alledge debt

What exactly do you mean by the above? Did you have letters from the creditors outlining the details of the debt, or..? Thinking that if you had a letter(s) outlining the details of the debt and it worked in your favor, either credit bureau would be obligated to update their records. Only catch is, they may take their sweet time in doing so.

Hi everyone,

What methods does Equifax Canada use to verify information with creditors? Because I sent in a dispute form, along with a letter of validation for each creditor to prove the alledge debt.
