Good question... you should ask your trustee...

I do know that if you declare bankruptcy, the debt is still owing even though the creditor can't collect it anymore.... bankruptcies are nasty on your credit report as they just keep reporting as over due, longer and longer.

for debt repayment, you're probably at R9...

Can they do that ?

Postby moreno20 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 04:58:26 PM

Hello all, I just pulled my credit report from Equifax and noted a few items of concern. I have been a on debt repayment plan since 2009 as my accounts have all gone to collections. I noted that my Royal Bank Creditor has not stop reporting me negatively for last 24 months. Is this common practice or something that they are allowed to do until full payment is completed ? What are my options here ?? Any information or advice would be much appreciated . Thanks all !

P.S. I live in the province Quebec
