Thanks for posting that, but is there any lwas specific to Alberta.

The credit and collection agency is in BC but the debt occurred her in Edmonton, Alberta

They have never written to me. They just contacted me by phone threatening that she will take me to court. I offered her 100.00 and she laughed at me I mean literally laughed at me and said there is now way she is willing to settle, then walla she puts this on my credit report..do I really have no recourse?
