Considering that credit reporting is standard practice in the industry, my bet is that it's covered in there somewhere - it just may not be in plain sight. Have you spoken with any legal folk regarding this topic?

has anybody had any problems with td visa violating p.i.p.e.d.a.? The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) .



I'm going to write a letter to the privacy commissioners office about the td bank. I'm just reading my td visa credit card contract for the first time. I just got them to mail it to me. geez... it's a long document. I had no idea of what i agreed to. i just need to make sure that TD is keeping to their part of the contract.



From my limited understanding, i never gave TD Visa permission to show my information to a collection agency. I certainly never gave permission to the collection agency to disclose my personal information to Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada. i need to know my privacy rights regarding pipeda



i'm sure that i'm not the only one with this question and problem.
