Well, expired or ones that are outstanding, i have cleared about 15-17000, off my credit report but mind you i was calling transunion and equifax like 3x a day checking my report and watching the activity. Any collection agency who is trying to collect has no CONTRACT WITH YOU IN YOUR NAME PERIOD. So with that said the simple letter requesting proof of debt to their company with a contract in its original form to be sent notarized certified true copy and you will reqesting the original in exchange for full payment. If they can send one of those babies settle up, your thinking but i do not have the money to settle up, tell them you do, its poker, so have your best face on, because seeing they do not have a contract signed showing you OWE tHeM, THEY HAVE NO CASE.....they can now be sued for racketeering, collusion and malversation as well do not forget defamation of character by reporting a unverified claim. So make sure you keep track of letters sent and give them 20days to reply or they full agree there is no debt.

not my debt appearing on my credit report

Postby boitoi82 » Thu Aug 04, 2011 09:01:47 PM

today I called my brother's bank because he needed a consignor for a student loan. They ran a credit check, the lady says I dont qualify coz I have an outstanding debt with CBV collector. My jaw dropped, heart stopped.

1)I have never let any debt go to a collector; I always pay all my debt.

2) I have never been contacted (by mail, phone, in person, messenger dove) by anyone from CBV

3) I called transunion, they confirmed the debt is on my credit file and that it dates back to 2007. She said it says its from a "Factored Wireless" (according to other posts here, the evidence points toward it being a Telus account).

4) I have never been with telus.

Questions:

1) what do i do? lol

2) if I submit a dispute with transunion, I wont have ANY documentation and mind you NONE to back my claim (as I have never had any dealings with telus).

help?
