My husband had applied for CPP-D in May of last year, and we've just gotten a letter saying "before we can approve" the application for children benefits, we need to send copies of their birth certificates. Does this mean he actually will be approved upon receiving the certificates, or is that just a typical letter sent from CPP-D to get his hopes up?
