I just recieved my first phone call from these people and needless to say I am extremly disgusted with their tactics and comments. I explained to the caller that I am currently unemployed and could pay 1/3 of the 150.00 I owe. He immediatly started to yell at me, saying that I should just file for bankruptcy and how I should be paying the full amount.

That was when I remembered all the information I know about the Creditors Act and read him the riot act. Firstly, I have never recieved written notice from them or Bell Mobility stating I owe any money. I haven't had a Bell account in 5-6 years. I screamed louder then he did, considering for half the conversation I couldn't hear anything he was saying and kept asking him to speak up and finally hung up on him.

I immediatly called Service Canada in Ontario, and asked if he was within his rights to demand I declare bankruptcy and as I figured, no. She stated that until they send me a letter, I can tell them to send me a letter or I won't deal with them and hang up.

Thankfully I found this site before I called and mentioned it to her and all the other complaints. Believe me, I will be filing a written complaint to Service Canada about iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency .
