My student loans used to be held with Collectcorp however, recently Metropolitan began calling and sending letters demanding payment in full. Who are these people and why do they have my account? I mailed my yearly post dated cheques to Collectcorp and they obviously forwarded them to Metropolitan because a guy named Edwin keeps calling from there and is refusing to accept my payment. The cheques have not been cashed for the past two months. They are even leaving messages at work. The messages are vague and somewhat threatening, demanding I call today about my account and a personal matter. What can I do about this?
