++Royal Bank is hilarious. I once had an account that was -$10 (service fees apparently).

They simply lost the account. I went in to make a deposit. Nope. No account. Gone. Zip. Nada. Who were you again?

So I walked out and made an account with TD Canada Trust. I've only had one ugly incident with them (they went and locked my account due to incorrect passwords on an ATM, and failed to notify me whatsoever, leaving me hanging with a pizza bill I intended to pay with Interac for), but otherwise they've been decent.

Their credit cards are a JOKE however. I don't have a credit history, but apparently it doesn't matter I've been working for 5 years straight living at the same address for almost as much time, making a computer programmer's salary, and apparently there's "insufficient positive feedback" to issue me a card. rofl, ok guys whatever."++
