This is another hypothetical question:

If a longstanding the travel rewards program such as aeroplan, air miles, Capital One air miles ceases to exist, what happens to my rewards miles? When I still be able to redeem them?

Understanding that these points do have some value, I would somehow like to receive that value that I've earned.
