Approval is guaranteed and the security fund required is only $75 which is lower than most banks.

To Apply, you must be at least the age of majority in the province where you live. You should also reside in AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, NS, ON, PE or SK. To qualify, you should not have an existing Capital One Account or applied for a Capital One account within the last 65 business days. You shouldn’t also have a Capital One account that is not in good standing within the last 12 months. And in order to get your card, a $75 security fund is required by check or money order but remember not to send post-dated cheques or cash.
