I don't know anything about your student loan situation, but I do know that your ODSP disability cannot be garnisheed. Also, if ODSP is your only source of income your bank account cannot be garnisheed either. All your ODSP monies are safe from collection.

When I called the agency, to try and work see what I should do about trying to pay them, I told them that all I could afford was 20$ because my rent just went up, she yelled at me and told me that wasn't good enough, yelled at me , said her supervisor would call me back and they never did.. that was last week.

Can a callection agecy garnish my Disability check? The source of my disability payments are from Ontario Disability Support Program. I have a permanint disablity and I owe the money from hospital bills from serguries that my doctor has deemed medically necessary. I'm in University and on permanint disability pension, I'm afraid I will get denied for my Osap school loans next year because I owe money to a credit agency. Does anyone have any advice...
