I have Student loans through the Royal bank. I have never seen a bank less helpful than RBC. It took me a month to get my account numbers regarding my student loans! I called them today, one system shows that they are sending me to collections, another that I am still in bankruptcy. It would be nice if they would get the act together.

Does anybody know what the statute of limitations is regarding canada student loans and BC student loans? I got my loans in 1997/1998 and for some reason they survived my bankruptcy. Even worse, if I don't pay them they are going to be sent to the collection agency where I work for action! How embarrassing! I don't mind paying on them, and paying them off. I just dislike dealing with RBC. They won't even accept payments made through my financial institution for my loans...geez.
