This sounds like a great book!
Angela Self, one of the smart cookies authors is a self described Zombie Spender: A Zombie Spender is defined in the book as an individual who pays very little attention to where their actually money goes
Apparently before these ladies became the smart cookies they were really bad with their money. After working together and learning together in their self-help money club in Vancouver in (started in 2006) they've ironed out their money issues and have become wise with their money!
I am always impressed to hear from those who have leared from their mistakes and learned the important lessons...
This should be a good book about personal finance.

At the time, she was earning $10 an hour and relying on her high-interest credit cards to fund her "spend now, worry later" lifestyle. As is typical of someone with this spending style, Self often returned from shopping trips with items she didn't recall buying.
"Once I came home from IKEA with two white duvets," Self recalls. "I was just walking through the store and putting things into my big yellow bag."
