What does your contract with GMAC say about default payments?

What does the contract allow GMAC to do as far as liquidating the asset..?

That's where I would start..

If your car was repossessed in Nov, that means you must not have made payments for several months prior to that... when was your last payment?

You paid the $1290 within the 21 days? Did you get a receipt or something in writing?

did you have a bad credit car loan?

My car was repossed in Nov.They said if i paid 1290 dollars they would release my car.I had 21 days to do it.I did as they asked only to find out my car was at the auction in Moncton.I called GMAC and they wanted another 2600.00.I missed 2 weeks of work because of this.Two days after speaking with GMAC about the bad credit car loan the woman I spoke with wrote a letter to me stating they didn't intend to give me back the car.I received the letter 2 weeks later.I just noticed also that they didn't even have the right plate number.What are they trying to pull.All I can say is they must love lawsuits because I plan to file one myself
