I don't know what is the most popular.. but I did my research and alot of people seem to have chosen Capital One.. alot of other secured credit cards require a security deposit equal to your credit limit whereas Capital One can give you a credit line of up to $1500 with a deposit as low as $75.

I've had mine for over a year and they still have my deposit. No word on when I'll be receiving it back....

What is the most popular secured credit card in Canada? How does it compare to the US?

I'm also wondering how often the security is kept and the card is written off.

Anyone have insight into this?
