Feel free to tell them to take a hike, or take you to court. You are correct, that debt is stats barred and they no longer have any legal recourse available to them now. It won't show up on your credit bureau files so your safe in that regard, too.

I hope to find an answer recently I got a call then alot of calls from credit bureau of canada wanting a settlement on a RBC debt of over 10 years ago
I was unable then to declare bankruptcy as the amounts owed were too low !!!
Now 10 years later they want a settlement ( which I do not have) it took so long to get going again
real life happens
Anyways I was taol beforeonce that debrts would be automatically cleared and void after a period of 6 years as I could not legally delcare bankruptcy at that time any facts welcome
wondering what to do now ...they keep calling me
