I canceled my contract with Fido and a few months later I was called by fido informing me i owed 1700$ i made payment arrangments with them and the first payment was 500$ i was not able to pay this and I paid 100$ after a few weeks I was contacted by delightful ms.Rodriguez who informed me that If i did not make the payment of 1600$ in full TODAY by 3pm that Fido could take action against me. She threatend to garish my wages and that my credit would be ruined. I was very afraid I told her that i was not able to make that full amount and that I could make them in instalments she said no that the instructions from fido were to get the amount in full and if not to 'take action'

I then called Fido and the accounting manager told me that since the file was sent to MCA theirs nothing fido could do.

So I called back MCA and I spoke to someone eles because I did not want to talk to Ms.rodriguez anymore. He informed me that If i did not pay within the Hour that action was going to be taken and told me that Ms. rodriquez was signing off on the papers right now. I just laughed and said OKay sure and hung up due to the fact that I'm not sure its even possible to firstly, contact someone about their owing debt make them pay within a few hours and if not screw your credit up and getting sued within one day. I hope its not

Any info would be great as to what I should do next, I did not call back and its 4 pm now Thanks.
