I would call your trustee and let them know you are being harassed again about a debt that was included in a bankruptcy. I believe they should be able to give you advice. If you have your bankruptcy papers; I would get a hold of bells public relation department or ombudsman department and forward your proof to them and that should put an end to the calls.

Please help, I need advice

Postby cowgrlup72 » Wed Jun 10, 2009 04:50:23 PM

Hi and hoping you can help. Back in 2006 after 3 years of living with my boyfriend he up and left me with all the bills and a $1200 apartment. So August of 2006 I declared bankrupcy and bell canada was one of them. I have not heard one thing from a collection agency or recieved any communication from Bell Canada. I started working in 2006 and was laid off in May of 2009. Back in March of 2009 I recieved my first letter from Metropolitian Credit Adjusters stating I owe Bell Canada $1400.00. I contacted my trustee and was told to forward the information to them. I faxed my trustees information and that was the last I heard from Metropolitian, until last week. They have started calling my home and I would like to know how can a collection agency start collections after almost 3 years of filing bankrupcy and not being able to pay. Can anyone give me some insite on these idiot companies...Thank you
