I have sent dispute to Equifax and to Trans Union and both have been corrected. It took more than once to send and I sent via regular mail. They will not send you updated copy if you do not request as such. I always ask for one. Since the unfortunate happening when we applied for a mortgage and seen all the stuff on my bureau we get updates every three months and they are all free of charge. Keep on top of it people. Even after my disputes the next copy I get has more mistakes......I take care of it cause I know no body else will.

I would fax the dispute form. I believe someone will go and pick up your letter.

dispute not deliverable?

Postby anneshirley » Tue May 19, 2009 06:19:10 PM

I recently sent my dispute to Equifax Canada via register mail. However, when I tracked the letter on Canada Post's website--it shows,

"Attempted delivery. Notice card left indicating where item can be picked up."

Now all I'm wondering is, am I screwed? Do you think Equifax will really send someone to pick up my dispute letter? I don't think so. Does anyone have any suggestions???
