CIBC opened an overdraft account without me filling out an application form. That contract gives them permission to report to the bureau if necessary. Now when I request the original contact with CIBC, they choose not to respond / admit there own fault.
Even though we have a Consumer Reporting legislation, both CIBC and the bureau's refuse to follow it.
If you do a search for CIBC on yahoo, you will find a ton of complaints on this company. Most people claim that CIBC does not care about their customers, or even returning customers that refuse to do business. The head of the department has realized this problem, and put his head down in shame.
