Which is good right?

Also, I saw in my Transunion report that the have 2 cards of CIBC, but they are one and the same
For eg., The card was called CIBC Amex in 2002-2003, then they changed to CIBC Dividend but in transunion it shows as separate and dont know for how long its been there
Can they reverse all the bad marks for all the time they had it, also Equifax doesn't have this screwup

I found when you send them a lot of letters at once, they tend to screw up and delete negative items off your file.

reggie2828,

If your credit is bad already, the urgency is less.

If your credit is still rescuable than your should do it all at once.

Should I fax the to the credit bureau as they come or should I do all together? I am in the middle of settlement with other creditors.should I wait till I update my info and fax the Credit Bureau the release letters?

If you paid or settled the debt with the collection agency; I would call them up and have them fax you the release letter and also tell them the credit bureau has not been updated. There is no reason why the collection agency will not do this for you. If they give you a hard time call the creditor and explain to them that the collection agency is refusing you the release letter and also your request to have your credit file update. One way or another you will get your result you want from one of them.

If you have a letter stating from them they will settle for a specific amount, all the payments you mentioned are fine. The cheapest methods are online banking and personal cheque.

PS

What is ideal proof of payment?

Bank Draft, personal cheque, online banking or money order where proof can be shown quickly when there is a doubt

Yes I dealt with one myself, got settlement and release from bank and agency

Another one is bank directly, so they going to fax me Account Statement

For my other debts, I have acquired someone's services so they will take care of the paperwork
