I did that. They have not. I was told to send them a registered letter telling them to stop calling me and to research and prove the debt. I am sure it stems back from my divorce 10 years ago when my ex applied for services using my name. Even Bell can't find anything.
Can Natale attach this to my credit report?

I would ignore it because the debt is ten years old and past its statue of limitation to sue you. I would do a credit check to make sure natale never placed this debt illegally in your credit file.

Good day.
I am being hassled by Natale for an outstanding debt that is claimed is owed by me from 1999 from Bell Canada. I have asked them to prove this debt with a phone bill/contract anything that states I owe it but they will not. I have contacted Bell Canada who has nothing on file for the number being quoted.
Suggestions anyone?

can you send me copies of the letters you've received from Natalie Law Office? I would like to post them on the site.

We will, of course, delete out your personal information.

We need to show publicly what Natale and Globe credit & Collections are doing.

Hello fellow canadians!
I am here to help and offer some advise in dealing with thes people,I too have been sent one of those bogus draft "statement of claim forms"
I wont bore you with the details but the amount they want is in the 5 figures. After calling alot of people :BBB,Equifax,Consumer Protection Agency,Phonebusters,RCMP,Law Society of Upper Canada,An Attorney,And our own Bank(which is where this alleged debt is owing). They have all launched an investigation by the way. They sugested the media as a very good way to expose this widespread problem.Wether the debt in SOL ,(Statute Barred) or completely not true it is important to stay calm and tell the collectors nothing.I have wrote an email to CBC Marketplace http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/about/contact/we_want_to_hear_from_you.html

I encourage you all to do the same ,if they get enough compaints they should do an exposé and these practices will come to an end! good luck!
