HBC Reporting an account that did not have my contractual consent. I opened only one account with there credit card, and now they are reporting a second account which I did not authorize them to report.

Don't deal with them. Even though we have a Consumer Reporting Act legislation, both the bureau's, Hudson's Bay Comapany refuse to comply with them.

Caution using your HBC Card:
The HBC Card collection department pretty much does what it wants.

A client has had some problems with them. the client didn't pay the account for a while. However, he did pay and got a letter from HBC saying that they had removed any negative notations on his HBC Card trade line on TransUnion credit report.

I just looked at his credit report and the negative notations were still there.

Here's the point: if you ever have a dispute with HBC Card (Hudson Bay Canada) they're extremely difficult to deal with because they're not regulated like banks, credit unions or credit cards. HBC Card is a store card which is issued by HBC. The only place you can complain about them is in court of queens bench. ie... expensive lawyer court.

HBC has never been friendly to my clients.
