Bad Credit Car Loans

Postby Andrew87 » Thu Feb 26, 2009 08:31:50 PM

Hey guys,

I'm looking for finance a car -- decided I want to buy an Acura TL, used for about $22,000 before taxes et all. I was a little nervous, because I only turn 22 next week, Bad Credit Car Loans and with a car payment and insurance it can obviously be killer.

It seems I could get insurance through TD for $225 a month. That isn't bad... what I'm interested in more so, is who I can get the car financed with.

I've pulled my credit report, and I have a score of 620. After my tax return, I'll be able to pay off my final credit card and have 0 debt owing on my bureau. I was able to raise my score over 200 points in the last year, so I don't think it should be Bad Credit Car Loans too hard to get it to 700, but .. I mean, I'm not in any rush, I'm just really wanting this.

I currently bank with Scotia, and I've started a new job this year that pays me $35,000 a year. Not bad, because Scotia has opened a few doors for me since then.

Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? I have a feeling talking to Scotia is probably the best bet, but is there any other options for me, without getting an interest rate over 10%?

Thanks.
