Who do you collect for Bill K.Lector.It’s seems you know a lot about the collection agency business? I know a lot about the business because I have settled a lot of debt in the past. The ordinary person out there wouldn’t know about the FCA forms. The collection agencies never offer you these forms and I know for a fact they never want you to submit these forms to be considered for a low perimeter settlement offer. The only thing collection agencies want to hear is that you’re going to pay your debt off in full. The settlement option is voodoo in the collection agency business lol.

I made sure the creditor received the FCA forms, just because the collection agency tells you they are going to forward your request don't always believe them, I know this from experience. If you want to make sure your forms were received by the creditor, call the creditor yourself and find out.

I suppose that's a matter of opinion, but if you want an under parameter settlement (below what the agency is "blanket authorized" to offer) approved, you'll have to play ball.

When filling it out, you'll want to show that your expenditures come close to, meet, or exceed your income.

Sinister? Nope. But none of a third party collector's business.

I agree, unless it's from Royal bank. They wanted me to fill out a 21 page Declaration of Financials and notarized before they will consider me for a settlement on a visa debt. I laughed at the lawyer and told him I am not filing for bankruptcy. The only reason they tried this is because I had a home at the time. If they didn’t know about my home, this debt would have been at the collection agency instead of the lawyer’s office. The lawyer that was handling a matter for me at the time told me to throw it in the garbage, which I did.

The home is gone and the debt went to a collection agency. The debt is still not settled and I tried to tell RBC that my home was not worth more then the foreclosed amount , they figured sending a lawyer after me would get their money, I guess they were wrong. The only person that has made money off my matter is the lawyer. I don’t know what kind of crock he gave them.
