Somebody emailed me, and asked me for a prepaid credit card.

At first I couldn't think of any companies that offered prepaid credit cards in Canada. Money Mart does offer a prepaid credit card.

Why do I need a prepaid credit card?
I can see why people would like a prepaid credit card, especially if they don't have a bank account. The problem is that Money mart charges a "loading " fee, and other fees to use the card. If you're short of cash on a regular basis, this is an expensive route to go.

Wouldn't it be better to carry cash with you in stead of paying all of those prepaid credit card fees?
