I agree with you. If they write you a letter of apology they are admitting to guilt and I can't see them doing that. If your lucky maybe a verbal one.

I don't think I want a lawsuit but it would be nice if either Aktiv Kapital or the Bureaus had to provide us with a letter of appology or something we can present to some of the creditors that have denied us in the past couple of years. We were unable to purchase a house last year because CMHC wouldn't provide us with mortgage insurance...and the lender wanted to charge us a much higher interest rate...

I would ask Angella on here, she seems to know all about lawsuits.

now that I've had some time to digest the fact that this item will be removed from both bureaus I'm wondering how it is that Equifax claims to have verified the account???
We have asked them to inform us how they verified the account but they will not tell us...
This has completely ruined my husbands credit...he's been turned down for loans and credit cards and I had to finance his car for him as he couldn't get financing...
We're very frustrated and wish there were some legal recourse, I know the bureau will send revised copies of your report to anyone in which you've applied for credit in the last 30 days but that doesn't help with the ones he applied for in the past year...

I think Bill Lecter should tell us where he works at, so we can send him some business his way.

it's important to note that there were concerns that our facts were going to go by the way side... we've set up a FAQ area where we have the facts, and they cannot be disputed.!!

i don't mind collection agents visiting... it's nice to get their side of the story , as long as they're polite and respectful. It's all about helping people.

Collection agents are customer servants, and should be viewed that way.

BTW... if there are FAQs that we should be posting.. let me know.

Monty,

When collectors come to your site and try to debunk our theroies, that means they are getting nervous the fact people out there will start to ask the right questions when they are being called. Say bye bye to the big commission cheques lol.

Sorry about that. I know I promised but when a collection agent challenges me, it's like showing a picture of Wanderlei Silva to "Rampage" Jackson. No relation by the way except that collection agents put me in in the same mood.

Bill K Lecter..
So you're telling me that you have demanded payment from anybody?
You haven't made anybody cry?

You haven't caused somebody to feel out of control by your phone call?

Wow.. you're the nicest guy ever!!
