I just received both credit reports from Equifax and Transunion. I wasn't sure who Transunion was before. I'm glad I know now.

My credit score is different on my Equifax and Transunion credit reports by about 100 points. Transunion is showing information on me since 1985.

Questions:
1) Why are my credit scores different between Equifax and TransUnion and by such a vast difference?
2) Do I need to have all of this old stuff on my Transunion report?
3) Will it hurt my credit score with Transunion if I remove all of this old credit history?
