Hey, Monty

I'm curious as to how your life changes are going? Diet etc? Sure is hard to make changes and even moreso to keep with them.. The best diet I ever went on was the low-carb.. wasn't even to lose weight (supporting a friend).

Was the healthiest time of my life, I think. I ate much needed fruits, veggies and proteins. I didn't realize how little energy I had until I had some.. lol

Hey Bobgianni,

It should take the better part of a year to lose the weight.
The thing that I'm doing not eating fast foods, chips, cookies and the bad stuff that I used to eat a bunch of .

Now I'm only eating whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, meats, brown rice and water.

There is no sugar, dairy, nuts, breads allows.

With this diet, I can't possibly gain weight.!! So, If I exercise and keep it up over a year, I should be able to lose the weight.

I haven't been visiting much - My new diet

Postby montyloree » Tue Apr 22, 2008 07:48:47 AM

I have to apologize... I haven't been visiting much on the forums here.

I've started a new health diet / regime, and it's sapping my energy quite a bit.

I'm starting to feel a little more alive, so I'll be able to get back on here and visit with our members.

To date I've lost 15 pounds, in a month, and am starting to feel better on the overall.
I've also been out bicycling quite a bit, and I am able to cycle 5-10 miles in a day without falling over out of breath. This is quite the improvement over 6 weeks ago when I couldn't barely cycle 6 blocks without stopping.

My goal is to lose 85 pounds total and be able to bicycle 100 miles in a day.!!
