I especially like the article about Backgammon Etiquette. If a person is going to play backgammon online it is really important to lay out the etiquette guidelines, so as to ensure a smooth and pleasurable experience with the other players.
You're playing a gentleman's game with people who are potentially in different countries around the world, and who could have different cultures, This means that you need one set of etiquette rules in order for the players to have a similar experience.
I would personally hate to be playing a game of backgammon with people who are rude and insensitive. Having an enjoyable time means to play with others who are respectful of the game and respectful of the others who are playing with them. Backgammon etiquette is really important.
