![]() What is a Employment History?
The history of employment goes on around the year 1940. There is no proper hand in hand connection between protectionism and employment. After a few more years around the year 1986 there was manufacture of a huge range of shorts, hands, pants and shirts through stores and outlets in the country of Canada. Further down in the year of 1999 there was a commitment to assist the older workers who have lost their job and those who are having a real big problem with finding employment by announcing the old worker pilot which was underscored by the government of Canada. The following year came up what was called the employment equity in the country of Canada. There has always been this problem of employment equity in the employment history. Most of the new employment statutes in the Canadian jurisdictions have prohibited the religious as well as the racial discrimination and also prescribed an equal pay for both women as well as men. Employees Unions. Fair Employment practices helps make more money. This was when equal opportunity for both men and women was first defined. Equal opportunity was how it all moved towards being impartial to both men and women. This was a major part of the employment history in the country of Canada. Form then onwards there were both men and women in a decent basis in every work place. Before this turn in the employment history there was more chance given to the men in the society rather than the women. The bill or rights during this period of the employment history is what hardened this equality of men and women. Obviously it did not suddenly change there was a lot to be done to this. There was a lot of pressure from the minority groups as well as the women so that the situation of these people who belong to those particular groups would be solved. Along with all these employment problems came a lot of groups like the commission for human rights. Slowly the Canadian government played its part in this. They took into consideration a lot of people who needed that sort of attention. Those who topped the list were the disabled as well as the handicapped that did need some amount of help. Aboriginal people also came under this list according to the government of Canada. Next was followed the list of women. The federal government of Canada responded to the report of the commission to have a bill introduced with respect to the equity of employment in the country of Canada. This was a huge change in the employment history of this country. Employment Insurance, EI Benefits, Income Taxes Soon the employment act for equity was passed. There was yet another equity act for employment that came on later. It did focus on enforcing the earlier legislation and also clarifying it. This act did cover the employees who were under the private sector of the federal jurisdiction and also those employees who fell under the federal government. So now there is equal importance given to everyone in the country on the basis for employment. What is an Employment History? |
