It sure was nice to have Gail Vaz Oxlade visit us last year.

Just a note for all of the people here who have submitted questions for Gail Vaz-Oxlade to answer tonight...

Gail and I have reviewed your questions over the phone to see which ones she is going to answer. It turns out that she's going to answer most of them!!

What we mentioned is that some of the questions are a bit controversial and may not get the most "popular" answers. That's okay, and that is certainly Gail's style to be straight forward and speak her mind.

For the most part Gail like all of your questions and was excited as we reviewed them together.

Again, I want to thank everyone for taking time to ask these questions. I really value your input on this.

I'm sure tonight is going to be a really fun and unique event!

Cheers!

    TELESEMINAR INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Click on CMASeminar.com. This will take you over to talkshoe.com..
  2. You can listen to the audio on your computer speakers for the whole teleseminar event.
  3. There will be a chat area available, so you can instant message with the other participants, myself, and Gail.
  4. If Gail decides she has enough time for some call in questions, then you can call PH: 724-444-7444 Call ID 13373# to ask her your questions in person.

  7. IMPORTANT: If you are unable to make the live event, we will have the recordings on itunes as well as post the podcast recording on this site.

This is going to be a one of a kind event as Gail hasn't done a teleseminar of this type before. It's a way for us to reach Canadians, and actually have them interact with Gail live!

INTERACT WITH GAIL LIVE!
It's exciting that we'll have three ways for you to communicate with Gail one on one. First, Gail will be answering questions that were posted in our discussion forum. Second, if Gail has time, we'll take some questions from our callers by phone. Third, you'll be able to post questions for Gail in the chat area of CMASeminar.com

THE EVENT WILL BE RECORDED FOR LATER LISTENING
If you are unable to make the live event, we will be recording this event and making it available on itunes as well as posting it as a podcast recording on this site.

Talkshoe.com allows us to host the teleseminar event, have people call into ask questions, but also stream the audio so that people can listen from their computers without calling in.

RE: Questions for Gail Vaz-Oxlade - Free Teleseminar Entries!

Postby vinabnf » Sun Mar 02, 2008 03:10:00 PM

Hi Gail
I love your show! I am married with one child who is 11 years old. We have paid off our mortgage and now want to move. We both have good jobs, and I was wondering what advice you would give us. We don't have any credit card debt and always pay our bills on time. Our only debt is a used car we bought last year. I don't like to be in debt and am having a tough time with the thoughts of having another mortgage.
We feel we need to move because the neighbourhood we live in is not safe for our daughter.
We haven't saved any for a downpayment, but we do have an emergency fund of $2000.00 and have $1500.00 put aside to pay car insurance etc.(I like to save for future expenses)
Thanks so much!

My question for Gail would be how much of a percentage of my families income should be for entertainment, food, bills etc... if we get paid weekly.

What are some of the best money/budget tracking programs available (at low or no cost)?
