owing collector, can you just disappear once and for all? thank you

Im acollector with a agency that has very few complaints. We treat ever call as its recorded the way we insult is legal we use the gray and you draw the conclusions. When i have a collector call me i do the grey back to them or use langauge which gets them to hang up. Right collectors dont get commission they get fees on there collection its a word game we play. How else would a top collector make 6 figures a year,

In my experience dealing with collection agencies, not all bill collectors were rude or unprofessional. I had one bill collector state that he gets a salary and no commissions so he does not have to get rude with people and I believe him because he settled my debt for 10% and zero commission.

I guess you have a decision to make for yourself. I don’t blame the creditors for my mistakes at the end of the day. I borrowed or used their credit cards and I could of have said no thanks. I decided to settle for the simple fact if anyone files for bankruptcy; it will be years before they get credit if they are lucky. If you come to a settlement agreement with your creditor you can have them agree that they will not change your last date of last activity. I didn’t get them to agree and none of them changed mine so I was lucky or they didn’t care to do damage to me. If I would of file for bankruptcy last year my bankruptcy would have not come off till 2015 and instead all my bad stuff will be gone in 2012 and 2013.I hope things work out for you and if I can be assistance don’t hesitate to ask.

Minority rude bill collectors?

I don't have a problem with a bill collector doing their job in a professional manner, but when they start insulting people I do have the problem with that. I don't begrudge a person for making a living but remember one thing bill collectors your are trying to make a living off people's financial hardships. In the future for those minority rude bill collectors, the shoe maybe on the other foot someday. I think the best way to keep bill collectors from getting out of line is to record every call you have with them. I believe once they find out people are recording their calls the level of professionalism will go way up.

I completely agree with you karyn78. Collectorinrage sounds like the next Clock tower shooter!!! So much rage. I can't wait until he hits the same lows as some of us have hit.

I read many of the posts from CollectorInRage and all I can say is.....Wow! What a LOSER! He's nothing but a PARASITE who's too stupid to realize that if everyone paid all their bills, he would be out of a job. Then he'd be the one owing money he couldn't pay. See how his posts defy logic? And since lazy bizznatches like that sit at a desk and hide behind their little phones he probably couldn't get a job doing anything else!

He is too ignorant to comprehend the various circumstances which can cause hardworking people to end up in bad situations. Actually when people take on debt, they CAN afford it at the time, otherwise they wouldn't be approved. Sometimes people lose their jobs, get divorced, suffer injury, etc. and supporting their kids takes priority over paying their bills until they're back on their feet!

One day maybe CollectorInRage will lose his job, or have kids, or get injured and find himself in a similar situation. Then he'll realize what an idiot he was for making such dumb-ass statements. Morons like that want to believe they're immune to life's hardships, but they're not.

Collection agencies are the only low-life, dead-beat thieves - like when somebody owes a company a certain amount of money, which they have every intention of paying, but some cretinous collection agency tacks on several hundred, or several thousand dollars as a fee?

People, just tell the collection agencies to kiss your ass. Just contact the creditor directly - pay ONLY the creditor, and pay ONLY the amount you owe. The creditors would rather make arrangements with you to pay, even less that what you owe, than have somebody claim bankruptcy and then they get NOTHING. Just ignore the collection agencies.

Yes, I have used PIPEDA to get all information a CA has on file including soft and hard copies. The soft copies they print off their systems and they include their call logs.

There is a lot of interesting information you get from these clowns when they send you everything they have I on file and that includes information on who they have called trying to locate you.

From the information I received from various CAs I have seem at times one CA call another CA to see if they have any information about me.
