As they are Completely Unwilling to SPEAK to Me, let alone Disclose ANY Information regarding this Account I won't be Holding My Breath for any Letter as I Doubt they Have MY Address, as It's not MY Debt.
As far as ensuring they have the Correct Party How are they to Do that when they REFUSE to Speak to Me? Avoiding a Lawsuit would be the LAST THING on these peoples minds.
Ten Minutes of Conversation would Convince them I am Not the Party they are Seeking, yet all they do is Call, leave an AUTOMATED Message and when I Return their Call they simply HANG-UP. Very "Professional" and in he Spirit of Resolution rather than Harassment.

Hank...You Don't Understand. I've Never had an AMEX CARD.
They are Telling Me I Owe Someone else's Debt.
I Do Agree that DCA will "Move On" as there is Really nothing they can Do. I'm just AMAZED By the Gall of these people to tell me I Owe a Debt without Giving me a SCRAP of Information. Then, when I Try to Get the Info THEY HANG UP on Me.
I would think if there was a Debt Owed they Would Try to COLLECT IT, even if it is 9 yrs. old, rather than simply place "Annoyance" Calls and Hang-Up's.

Recently, after applying for an AMEX CARD, I Began to Receive Calls from this Agency, DCA.
They Informed Me that I Had a Debt from AMEX incurred in '04.
I Informed Them that I Had NEVER Possessed an AMEX CARD before.
The Individual I was Speaking With..."Cathy".. Informed Me that DCA would Be Making HARD INQUIRIES on My Credit Report and "Not to Lie to Anyone" about the Reason Why. I was Also Told by this Individual "I'll never get Credit Again".
All Attempts to Speak to Her regarding this Mistake end up with her saying "the Calls will Continue" then her hanging up.
I have made a Formal Complaint on the DSA Website and have yet to receive any reply.
I have R1 Credit But DO NOT Appreciate the HARD INQUIRIES on my Credit Report.I Know that they CAN NOT Post it to the Credit Bureaus due to it's Age.

I Can Not Believe these People. After Reading the Owners, Mr. Mundavi I believe, Post stating his company abides by all Regulations and His Companies Website extolling their "Professional" Approach I can not even get these people to Supply Information Regarding the Account I am being Mistakenly held Accountable for. All I Receive are Threats and Hang-Ups.
I'm Trying to Resolve this Situation but CAN'T As NO ONE in DCA is Willing to Speak to Me, let alone Work with me to Rectify this Mistake.
I live in ONTARIO and will be Researching My Options to Have this BAD ACCOUNT removed from DCA's Books.

I can't contact AMEX Directly as I Have ZERO INFORMATION on this Account.
It seems these "People" have NO INTEREST in Resolving Problems just In Causing GRIEF to those Unfortunate enough to have their Name come across this Agencies Desks.
Should anyone have any Information that Could Assist me in having this Account REMOVED from DCA's Books I would be Greatly Appreciative Again, I Live in ONTARIO.

My suggestion if these people are being rude go there in person like I did 1200 Eglinton Ave East Suite 704 they open @ 7:30 in the morning show up 5 mins before opening and wait by the door as you need an access card to get in wait for an employee to show up and just follow them in when they open the door I went there and they totally changed their attitude and tell them you want to make partial payments in person they were not rude to me then and you can confront them about there attitude

Let's hope they get every penny.

just got a call..well they contacted one of my references regarding an account that i have with money mart that was outstanding..however I moved and am on mat leave. .Spoke to some girl name Rene Couture who was being "nice" by explaining to me that money mart wanted to sue me .

The thing is at this point they do not have a number for me..they called a friend of mine who I gaved as a reference to money mart upon opening the account...I have sinced moved from the address that they have on file for me so at this point they do not have any immediate contact information for me. And I want to keep it that way because I know they will be harrassing me if they do..thing is I really want to know who my debt went from 400$ to $700...think I might open a P.O Box # and have them send me a statement...if they even will. Those people should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for their lack of professionalism. I will however pay the amount that I know I owe and take it from there..I'll pay online seeing that that is an option. As far as your Payroll Loan is concern I have dealt with them in the past and yeah they were bought out by Mogo. It's stupid they should atleast send you something proving that they were bought out by Mogo. The way i look at it DCA is just trying to make things difficult for everyone!
