Call to TD Collection Department

Postby montyloree » Wed Mar 17, 2010 09:04:41 AM

lol... I just called the TD Collection Department... to ask questions for the Collection Agency Kung Fu system. The girl didn't want to ask general questions.. So.. I'm contacting the media department for the TD Canada Trust instead.

Oh well... live and learn.

The best way to avoid getting hit with a 28.8% interest on your sears card is to pay it off every month.

I am going to call today to see if this TD Emerald is something I can get with my current credit score.

I just was hoping to hear from somebody else who had one of these cards. I want to know if they like it or not. It seems to be the lowest interest credit card listed here: /archives/2010/01/low+interest+credit+card+rates+report+for+january+23+2010.html

TD Money Lounge - For younger TD Visa & bank customers - Facebook

Postby montyloree » Thu Jan 21, 2010 07:14:41 AM

I'm pretty impressed with the facebook group created by TD Visa for their younger customers.

You can find this TD Money Lounge facebook group at:
http://www.facebook.com/#/tdmoneylounge?ref=ts

TD is giving some of the latest news and events that are happening with teh bank.. and the comments on the group seem to be mostly positive..

so... good for TD Visa / bank for putting up this facebook group.

Postby India » Wed Jan 20, 2010 04:05:17 PM

I saw a post on this site that said that td emerald card is a good card
it has a cheap interest rate
I have not bad credit, my score is around 650, but i haven't checked it for a few months

what kind of credit score do i need to get a td emerald

i want to do a money transfer and pay off my sears card which is around 28% interest - it's really costing me alot of money and i would like switch to a newer cheaper card

RE: TD Visa - First Class Travel Infinite Card - Rewards

Thanks. We no longer have a National Bank in our area. The RBC is the worst when it comes to customer service or solving issues. I did have a $1000.00 cash back with BMO and they reduced it to $500.00 without telling me and gave me an excuse that they reduced all limits to clients due to fraud which I thought was bs.I did have good experience with td, scotia and cibc in the past. I just checked and we do still have an Hsbc branch in town and they do offer a secured card if you go into the branch and apply for it.
