I would. The worst that can happen is you're out $700.00. Ya got that anyway.

It is possible that, if caught, part of the punishment is to make restitution to the victims of their crimes.

HAR HAR HAR... perhaps somebody should contact Wells Fargo and let them know somebody is also playing off TransCanada Credit's name. As Wells Fargo has acquired them I'm sure they would be equally as interested in finding them as First Canadian Place was in finding these fellas.

Course... if my theory's correct it won't be long now before the Trans Canada Loans site also goes down. Somebody should try contacting these losers and see if the can reach them. :))))))))

good job every one...

Our investigative skills are getting better and better...

mrsdjbright, I never thought of calling security at the First Canadian Place.. It's pretty presumptuous and kinda dumb for this company to use the address and identity of one of the largest buildings in Canada.

It may seem like a good idea at the time, the security in the First Canadian Place must be a multimillion dollar operation..

taxes
credit
debt
bankruptcy
credit repair
investing
making money
saving money
retirement planning

I'm glad we're doing this type of investigative.. it really gets to the root of the situation and clears up any smoke and mirrors.

I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering if they are connected somehow. The only thing I could find was that they're domain is both Tucows.

Ya know... and this is just a deep gut hunch... just a feeling I can't shake... but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that First Canadian Finance and Trans Canada Loans were run by the same people.

Just an update. I phoned Ken Doige, Director of Security at First Canadian Place. He warned not to send money to them.
I didn't even have to say which place I was looking into, he said "Let me guess, First Canadian Finance?". Yep. They're a scam. They are not in the building, First Canadian Place, 100 King St. W. Suite #3101 Toronto Ont. M5X 1A1. There is no company. He told me to contact the local police department and file with them. They just opened a file for them too!!!!

/archives/2007/09/first+canadian+finance+scam+site.html

Again, i'm on leave from the office, so I can't be more thorough at the moment.

My recommendation: Don't use First Canadian Finance!!

They may be using a post office box at 100 king ST
