Monty we are just venting our frustrating thoughts is all I understand you don't promote it. Sometimes there is nothing you can do but hope or try and not think about it. I see a lot of people so frustrated and only trying to to the right thing with their credit reports and these credit bureaus not helping the consumer or doing their jobs as they are suppose to. It seems there is nowhere to turn even to our own government when it comes to issues like this.

I think your nephew should listen to his uncle lol.I know some people can do things like this but its a moral issue and of course if you get caught it becomes a legal issue.

Cheers

Let me settle my last three debts and then send the virus lol. If they are all settled the last remaining creditors won’t want to put any of my items back.

I understand both your pains. I wish some hacker bombs their system with a horrible virus that neither credit bureaus can come back from and clean every average joe's slate clean and perfect and see how they like it since they love to screw around with other people's lives. They are no better then the BBB. Government should be stepping in and slapping their wrists every other industry is regulated why not them.

Thanks Ray

Its is not good to know that they do this to a lot of people but at least I don't sound like I am off my trolly because this isn't just happening to me. It is happening to a lot of people who don't deserve this.

Your experience pretty well matches mine with Equifax. I sent for my my credit file with them in Feb. and I got 2 reports for 2 different people. The reports bore no resemblance to each other nor to reality and both were sent to the wrong address.

I then spent half an hour on the phone with a real smart intelligent lady there who said she would correct everything.

I then got 2 more reports for 2 different names, both sent to the wrong address again and both had more errors (if that were possible) than the first 2.

Equifax used to be a collection agency; maybe that explains it - I dunno. All I can say is I've never seen anything like it. I'm glad I'm not in credit repair.
