Thank you so much for your lack of concern.

Now my Amex card has been cancelled and I owe well over $1400.00 which must be repayed immediately. This is because I was unable to make arrangements for payments because the money that was supposed to have been used to pay the Amex card went instead to pay the service charges on the bouncing insurance payments.

My Mastercard is in a similar predicament. It is at about $1000.00 as well.

All because YOUR employees screwed up and didn't involve customer care in the first place. July 02, not July 20 was when my husband, (name withheld) went to your bank in (location withheld) to try your "Easy Switch" service. He wasn't contacted by the "Easy Switch" service until July 20th. A simple mistrike on a keyboard has caused tons of problems, never mind the "Easy Switch" agents being reluctant to even commence the "Easy Switch" process because of a second, smaller automated payment of no more than $5.00 a month!

If it had been done immediately, none of this would have happened.

We were told several times that "everything would be taken care of" and that the "Easy Switch" process would close out the account at the other bank.

THIS NEVER HAPPENED.

We were on a very tight budget before all this happened. Your inability to come through on your end of the bargain has cost us financially and our separate credit ratings have plummeted. You destroyed my children's Christmas. Our car no longer has the insurance it needs to be safely driven. There is no way come hell or high water that I, or my husband, will ever use TD Canada Trust or any of its services again for any purpose and we will make sure that the any communications to or from your bank will be properly blogged for the world to see.

You will fix this immediately.
