Just recv'd a couple of letters from AllianceOne within a week, trying to pressure me into settle an old (6yrs) now 23k TD debt. Anyway, I did notice on the back of these letters that there is a note attached indicating "This communication is from a debt collector and is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose."

Guess that's their way of saying: If you are crazy enough to make a payment with your credit card, we'll try using that card again in the future without asking permission again first.
